From Garage to Global: How a Xeno Startup Scaled Internationally

Three years ago, Dana Mire, a 27-year-old environmental science graduate, began experimenting with biodegradable packaging in her parents’ garage. Armed with nothing more than a vision for a sustainable future and a modest grant from the Xeno City Green Innovation Fund, she launched what is now known as EcoNest Solutions.

Today, EcoNest exports to over five countries, has secured Series A funding, and employs 48 full-time staff—most of whom are local to Xeno City.

"The support I received from Xeno City Chambers was game-changing," Dana shares. "From mentorship programs and international trade workshops to SEO visibility campaigns, the Chamber helped me lay the foundation for scalable growth."

EcoNest’s story is more than a business success—it’s a case study in how local infrastructure, when empowered and digitized, can fuel global potential. And it all started with a simple idea in a small garage.
